ok... think I'm done. whatever. As long as I'm not getting paid I get to decide when I stop.

I did lots of yard work!

I cleared away things that hadn't moved for almost as long as I've been alive!

yay.

Sooo...

my place or yours?

(edit)

Many times during the course of our short fragile little lives we might become inclined to get a little full of ourselves, perhaps feel a bit smug. This is a very human trait, if it happens to you I am quite forgiving.

Happily for me however, I have found the antidote, at least for drawing anyways.

Deviantart.com

Simply by going to this site and browsing any of the sections that contain art items similiar to my own I am quickly reminded of just how far I have to go. (think mt. everest without the sherpa.)

BUT! In order to stop my little ego of air from brusing itself too heavily on the rocks below, I help to cushion its fall by looking back in time and remarking on the fact that I *have* in fact improved.

In this way I manage to bobble along, hopefully without getting too big of a head.

And so my dear three readers, I post a memory of the post today, of not so long ago. In fact, from eleventh grade.

I considered this one of my better pictures at the time.

sooo... finals are rapidly drawing to a close over here...

*shrug* might as well put up some of them eh?

These two fine speci-maaans are from my drawing class.

Just to give you a sense of scale the smaller one (the horsey) is 40 inches by 60 inches. The one with the rhinos is... um... I forget. But it's bigger.

Anywhoo... good times.
